Animals have always held a deeply special place in my heart. They are at the core of both my life and my work. Over the years I’ve raised thousands of pounds for animal charities, supporting causes close to my heart not only through donations, but through dedicated fundraising too.
When I’m not working on one of my much-loved commissioned pet portraits, I immerse myself in the expressive craft of ink and watercolour — capturing the spirit, movement and soul of animals. From cherished domestic companions to majestic wildlife and birds, I strive to honour each subject with sensitivity, energy and respect, which I hope comes through in my work.
As a proud member of the Association of Animal Artists, I have exhibited and sold work in their prestigious annual exhibitions.
I am also resident artist at Generations Cafe Bar in Penistone, where I regularly showcase my larger pieces, allowing visitors to experience my work in a welcoming and creative community setting, whilst enjoying the best cuppa in Penistone – in my opinion!
Much of my work can also be found recreated on my Artful Living page, where my designs are available to purchase in a variety of beautiful, practical formats — including cards, cushion covers, coasters and table mats — allowing you to bring a touch of art into everyday life.
